Cinema.

Cinema and religion are so intricately connected to each other that on closer inspection, it is revealed to us that the object that a Zoetrope may most closely resemble is the Holy Grail.

There is a reason why a camera is so often compared to a gun, for except their obvious uses as devices capable of militant purposes; their functionality is rather similar – to the extent of even having similar terminology represent their basic utility – point and shoot.

If cinema had to be defined, thus, it is the link between violence and religion - between the pure and the imbecile - between the virgin and the whore - between the dead and the alive.
